What type of people volunteer?
Anyone fluent in English can become a tutor. We have tutors from all walks of life. All you need is a desire to help someone.
Do I have the time?
Just three hours a week at your convenience is enough to help a student become self sufficient and gain independence.
Where will I tutor?
You can choose from any number of sites throughout Kern County, including our classrooms at 331 18th Street in Bakersfield.
Are there any fees?
No!
